Lesson 1
Here we will cover some basic things such as the alphabet and how to say I, you, he/she and so forth as well as how to pronounce some of the words.
The characters of the Guarani alphabet are as follows:
a - â - ch - e - ê - g - ĝ - h - i - î - j - k - l - m - mb - ñ -
nd - ng - nt - n - o - ô - p - r - rr - s - t - u - û - v - y - ŷ - '
The alphabet contains six vocal, or oral, consonants: a - e - i - o - u - y, and six nasal consonants â - ê - î - ô - û - ŷ.
The best way I can tell English speakers to make the nasal sound is to clamp your nose with your fingers at first so that you know what the letter is supposed to sound like.
